Take our 10-minute survey and help shape
the future of local authority property
Why Your Voice Matters
This research seeks to understand how local government property teams are managing the squeeze of policy demands, financial constraint and operational delivery; while still seeking to drive value from the public estate.
Your contribution will help:
- Build a targeted report for government and sector bodies calling for renewed investment
- Highlight innovation, success stories and good practice across councils
- Provide practical tools for accessing funding and making the case for resources
All respondents will receive:
- Early access to the results
- An invitation to a policy-focused webinar and in-person roundtable
- A concise, visual summary report with benchmarks and insights
Purpose and Approach
This survey is the first stage of a national study on public sector asset management in local government. It explores how well councils are aligned with national priorities and what’s holding them back. A second stage will include interviews with selected participants.
We want to uncover how councils can better leverage their property portfolios to deliver local and national objectives; particularly in a time of limited funding, statutory pressure and rising service demand.
Timeline
- Survey period: July–August
