Watling Real Estate is delighted to announce four well-deserved promotions across its national network, reflecting the continued growth and success of the business.
In London, Matthew Southall has been promoted to Director, following his progression to Associate Director in September 2024. Matt plays a key role in the UK’s alternative real estate finance markets and will work closely with the firm’s national director group as capital continues to flow from London into regional markets.
Also in London, Tom Colyer steps up to Associate Director, alongside Ben Holyhead in Birmingham. In Leeds, James Bunce has been promoted to Senior Surveyor, further strengthening Watling’s northern presence.
Nathan Pask , Joint Managing Director based in London, commented:
“These promotions recognise not only the hard work and dedication of our team but also their contribution to Watling’s growth over the past two years. The continued success of Watling Real Estate is built on the quality and commitment of our people, and it’s fantastic to reward excellence as demand for our services grows across both existing and new clients.”
Andrew Foster , Joint Managing Director in Leeds, added:
“The scale and significance of the projects we’re currently advising on highlight our position within the UK marketplace. This includes both our newly launched Watling Consulting division and the ongoing success of our restructuring arm.
Headquartered in London, we operate offices in Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds and Bristol, providing national coverage with strong local expertise. The business now comprises 18 professionals delivering multi-disciplinary real estate advisory services, supported by its recently established Watling Consulting division, led by Director Guy Brett.
