Toby is a Director at Watling Real Estate based in the Midlands. He is a Member of the RICS, a RICS Registered Fixed Charge Receiver, a Fellow of NARA, and a RICS Registered Valuer.
Toby was an accountant and auditor working in private practice, prior to becoming a chartered surveyor in 2012. Toby spent 11 years working for GVA Grimley (now Avison Young) within their Restructuring Solutions team, before joining Watling Real Estate at its inception in 2023.
Toby has advised a wide variety of clients including banks, alternative lenders, accountants/IPs, private equity investors, HMRC, and large corporates.
Toby has experience working across all real estate sectors including Industrial, Land and Development, Investment, Offices, Retail, Automotive Retail, Hotels and Leisure.
Toby headed the restructuring of the RBS/NatWest Midlands occupational estate and advised National Grid plc on the separation and rationalisation of their gas distribution estate to Cadent Gas Ltd.
