Andrew is a Co-Founder and Managing Director at Watling Real Estate based in the North East and heads the Leeds office. He is a Member of the RICS, a RICS Registered Fixed Charge Receiver, a Fellow of NARA, and a RICS Registered Valuer.
Andrew has over 25 years of experience across all asset classes, and all aspects of stressed and distressed property investment and development.
Andrew’s key areas of expertise include acting as a Fixed Charge Receiver for all leading banks, alternative lenders and private equity investors, acting as Lead Advisor to insolvency practitioners and turnaround professionals on all real estate related matters, and the formulation and implementation of asset management strategies to optimise value on challenged assets.
Andrew’s recent high-profile Fixed Charge Receiver appointments include: Lincolnshire Lakes a 500-acre redevelopment site, The Dissington Estate a 2,500-acre development site and the UK’s largest ever Fixed Charge Receivership appointment, and Lead Advisor to various lenders on the Godwin Capital Group Administration.
