Watling Real Estate has completed the sale of a significant development site in Cambridgeshire for £3 million.
The 8.5-acre Wisbech Gateway site, located on the outskirts of Wisbech, was sold on behalf of joint fixed charge receivers Andrew Foster and Chris Walker following its launch to the market in September 2025.
The site, which formed part of a wider portfolio brought to market following the collapse of the Godwin Group, attracted strong interest from prospective purchasers before being acquired by an undisclosed buyer.

Situated adjacent to the A47 Wisbech Bypass, approximately 1.5 miles south of Wisbech town centre, the site occupies a highly visible position on one of the area’s principal transport routes. It is estimated that around five million vehicle movements pass the site each year.
Wisbech Gateway was one of five development opportunities brought to market by Watling Real Estate in July 2025 following appointments across sites in Derby, Bristol, Birmingham, Solihull and Cambridgeshire.
